Brilliant pianist and composer

“We’re all about live music,” brilliant pianist and composer Michael Wolff says of himself and his band, and it shows in his wealth of classical and jazz credentials.

He has played with the likes of Sonny Rollins, Cannonball Adderley, and Jean-Luc Ponty. Wolff was also the illustrious bandleader for the ill-fated (and joke-inspiring) Arsenio Hall Show.

His latest CD, Dangerous Vision, rejects the mix of pan-global sounds he experienced in Yemen and Ethiopia. On his new disc, he pulls a move from Cannonball’s playbook by performing a set of all-new studio tracks in front of a live audience, just as Mikey likes it. Wolff and crew unleash the beast tonight at Scullers Jazz Club”
